Fair patrons may purchase a Magic Money armband loaded with credits on a QR code. The amount of credits you put on the wristband is optional. These wristbands can be obtained at kiosks throughout the grounds or at our gates. Magic Money is simply digital credits, with one credit being one dollar.

Options for Payment at the North Texas Fair & Rodeo:

1. Enter with a ticket purchased in advance. Then, no Magic Money wristband is needed for entry. You can purchase a Magic Money wristband once inside or simply use your credit/debit card.
2. Arrive without a ticket purchased in advance, and you must load the price of your admission onto a Magic Money wristband. Gate kiosks will only load admission amounts. You can reload more credits once inside or use your credit/debit card for other purchases once inside.

Patrons can purchase food, drinks, rides, petting zoo feed, games, dunking booth participation and some commercial exhibits using Magic Money or a credit/debit card. Commercial exhibitors are the only ones able to accept cash.
