The Miss North Texas Rodeo Royalty represent the North Texas Fair & Rodeo throughout the year upon being crowned around the state and in the western industry. With a queen, teen queen, princess and junior princess, we have a great group of young ladies promoting our values and mission.

2023 Miss RODEO NORTH TEXAS FAIR

Ashlyn Williams

Ashlyn is the 22 year old daughter of Jim and Kim Welch of Boyd, TX. In the spring of 2023, Ashlyn graduated with honors from West Texas A&M University with her bachelors degree in Agriculture Education. She hopes to use her passion for agriculture to positively influence the future of the industry. As a rodeo competitor, she enjoys running barrels and dummy roping with her brother. 

2023 MISS RODEO NORTH TEXAS FAIR TEEN

Kate Dill

Kate is 15 years old and from Gainesville, TX. She is in the 9th grade at Sacred Heart Catholic School, where she is on the drill team and also plays volleyball and basketball and competes in track running short distance events. She has been a member of the Forestburg and Gainesville Riding Clubs and 4H. Kate volunteers with many organizations and loves to be part of rodeo any way she can!

2023 NORTH TEXAS FAIR & RODEO PRINCESS

Hayden Slagle

Hayden is 11 years old and is from Roanoke, TX. She is in the 6th grade at Tidwell Middle School. Her favorite subjects are math and science. Hayden is also in theater, choir, tumbling and 4-H where she shows her horses and helps with community service projects. Her favorite past time is being a rodeo queen!

2023 NORTH TEXAS FAIR & RODEO JUNIOR PRINCESS

Ava Rafferty

Ava is 8 years old and is a third grade student in Joaquin, TX. She participates in gymnastics, softball and her church youth group. Ava loves to rodeo, and her events are barrel racing, pole bending and goat tying. She is an honor roll student and also enjoys baking.
